Keyword Research

The Keyword Research module finds keyword ideas and enriches each one with Google search volume, CPC, competition, intent, and a 12-month trend - so you can decide what's worth targeting.

Three ways to find keywords

  1. Seed keyword - enter a topic and OneClickSEO expands it with autocomplete and Google Ads ideas.
  2. Seed URL - provide a competitor or reference page to mine keywords from its content.
  3. Manual list - paste or import your own keyword list to enrich with metrics.

Set the language, country, and optional include/exclude word filters, then start the job. A research job costs 5 credits.

Browsing the report

Results open in tabs - Overview, All Keywords, Suggestions (buying intent), and Questions. Filter by volume, keyword difficulty band, CPC, intent, SERP features, and tracked sites, and sort by any column.

  • Intent labels each keyword Navigational, High Intent, Pre-Purchase, Post-Purchase, or Comparison.
  • Keyword Difficulty groups keywords into Easiest, Easy, Medium, Difficult, and Hard bands - see Keyword Difficulty.
  • Questions isolates question-style keywords for FAQ and how-to content.

Analyze the SERP

For any keyword, run SERP Analysis (1 credit per keyword) to see the top-10 ranking pages with their domain authority, plus People Also Ask and Related Searches. This reveals weak-spot competitors you can realistically outrank.

Lists and clustering

  • Keyword lists - pin keywords from any report into curated, project-scoped lists.
  • Clustering - group keywords by shared SERP results or semantic similarity to plan topic clusters. See Keyword clustering.

Exporting

Export any report or list as CSV, JSON, or a multi-sheet Excel file (Keywords, SERP Results, People Also Ask, and Related Searches).
